Images of Wales Aberystwyth, Cardiganshire (continued) Photography by Julie Bosworth in September 2001 (with Kodak DC4800 digital camera) Above: The dark mass of Constitution Hill viewed from the south. The sunlit buildings on the far right belong to the University of Wales. Above: The University College buildings on the promenade were originally designed for use as a hotel, but were later extended in a mix of architectural styles. In the distance on the right are outlined the remains of Aberystwyth Castle. Above: Victorian hotels overlook the north end of the promenade, at the foot of Constitution Hill. Above: Evening sunlight illuminates the southern end of Aberystwyth promenade. The university buildings and the war memorial dominate the skyline. Back to Page 1
