Note 1: Maesyberllan Tabernacle Chapel was first built in 1746, rebuilt in 1805 and again in 1835. The later chapel was built in the Simple Round-Headed style of the gable entry type and is Grade 2 listed. Note 2: Rendered gable front with half-hipped roof; central door, with round arched windows to both storeys. The cause here was very early [1746] and important. The little burial ground has some nice rustic C19 gravestones. [Source: The Buildings of Wales: Powys, by Robert Scourfield and Richard Haslam, Yale University Press, New Haven and London, 2013]
