Note 2:
In 1963 the [Morriston Orpheus] Choir purchased Nazareth Chapel in Morriston and converted it to be [the choir's] permanent home. The decision to name it the Ivor E Sims Memorial Hall was unanimous. The hall was used for all manner of cultural activities and its redecoration and partial rebuilding was carried out by craftsmen from within the ranks of the Choir itself. It was the Choir's home until [the building] burnt down in 1980. [Source: The Morriston Orpheus Choir website (accessed 28 Aug 2017)]
